NTPC, CIPET hold skill training

Visakhapatnam: Under its CSR framework, NTPC Simhadri successfully organised the valedictory function of the first batch of the skill development programme for FY 2025–26 on Monday, in collaboration with Central Institute of Petrochemicals Engineering & Technology (CIPET), Vijayawada. The four-month residential training programme in Machine Operator – Injection Moulding (MO-IM) and Machine Operator – Plastics Processing (MO-PP) was completed by 30 candidates and achieved a 100 per cent placement record, with all trainees securing employment in reputed industries. The valedictory function was graced by Ayaskanta Jena, Head of Project, NTPC Simhadri, who, in his keynote address, reaffirmed NTPC’s commitment to community empowerment through skill-based interventions.
